Eddie was born December 4, 1975 in Lima, Pennsylvania. He grew up in south Florida and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale. Eddie was drafted out of high school by the NY Yankees but chose to attend college instead and play for LSU.  He has spent the last 11 seasons playing professional baseball since leaving LSU.  During that time, Eddie has gained a wealth of knowledge for the game of baseball.  Eddie now resides in Baton Rouge with his wife Dawn.

* 1998 – Won first 7 games with AA Binghamton Mets posting a 0.39 ERA
* 1998 – Included in trade to Florida Marlins for Mike Piazza
* 1999 – Included in trade to New York Yankees for Mike Lowell
* 1999 – International League Pitcher of the Year (AAA)
* 1999 – Yankees Minor League Pitcher of the Year
* 1999 – Major League Debut July 15^th against Atlanta Braves
* 1999 – Member of NY Yankees World Series Championship Team
* 2000 – Pitched in big leagues with NY Yankees
* 2000 – Traded to Cincinnati Reds
* 2001 & 2002 – Played for Orix Blue Wave in the Japanese Professional Baseball League
* 2003 – Winning pitcher in PCL Championship for Oakland A’s AAA club
* 2004 – Signed as a free agent with Boston Red Sox
* 2005 – Signed as a free agent with Washington Nationals
* 2006 – Signed as a free agent with Kansas City Royals
* 2007 -  Pitched for Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League
